Episode 01 - Truth:
Gabriel repairs the Peacock Miraculous and uses it in conjunction with the Butterfly Miraculous to transform into "Shadow Moth". Meanwhile, Marinette's relationship with Luka fractures when she is forced to ditch several of their dates to protect Paris as Ladybug and the Guardian of the Miraculous. When Marinette is unable to tell him the truth behind her disappearances, he falls into despair and is akumatized and amokized into "Truth", who, together with his sentimonster, "Light Eye", can force his victims to truthfully answer his questions. Ladybug and Cat Noir defeat him, but Marinette is unable to handle the stress of lying to him and the two ends their relationship, as well as friendship.

Episode 02 - Lies:
Adrien's relationship with Kagami begins to fall apart when he is forced to ditch several of their dates to protect Paris as Cat Noir. When Adrien drops the lucky charm he received from Marinette and Kagami finds it, she confronts him about him possibly lying to her and her heartbreak over the fact results in Shadow Moth akumatizing her into "Lies", a ghost-like villain with the ability to paralyze anyone who has lied in their entire life. Ladybug and Cat Noir defeat her, but she tells Adrien that how can she trust or be with someone who has lied to her and two break up.

Episode 03 - Gang of secrets:
Marinette becomes overwhelmed by keeping secrets from everyone she loves to keep them from harm. Worried about Marinette hiding from them how she feels now about Adrien and Luka, Alya, Juleka, Rose, Alix and Mylène come to her house to talk and give her a friendship bracelet made with beads and almost discover the Miracle Box, forcing her to lash out at them and saying that they are not one of their friends anymore. Alya, Juleka, Rose, Alix and Mylène are so devastated that Shadow Moth akumatizes them back to Lady Wi-Fi, Reflekta, Princess Fragrance, Timebreaker and Horrificator, joining forces as the "Gang of Secrets". Ladybug successfully helps Alya break free from Shadow Moth's control and then recruits her as Rena Rouge to help defeat the others. After the victory, Marinette reconciles with her friends and then finally confesses to Alya that she's Ladybug.

Episode 04 - Mr. Pigeon 72:
Since Alya got in on Marinette's secret, she helps Ladybug with her duties. Meanwhile, Marinette and Kagami attend the shooting of a commercial with Adrien, in an attempt to reconcile him with Kagami. They accidentally crash it, resulting in Mr. Ramier, who provided pigeons for special effects, to turn into Mr. Pigeon for 72nd time, with the power to turn people into pigeons. Without Cat Noir, Ladybug enlists the help of Plagg and Rena Rouge to defeat Mr. Pigeon. After defeating him, Ladybug gives Mr. Ramier a "Magical Charm" to protect him from future akumatizations. In a parallel to "Stoneheart", Marinette and Adrien share their umbrella, and he seemingly falls in love with Marinette. From afar, Kagami remarks that Adrien and Marinette are "made for each other".

Episode 05 - Psychomedian:

Episode 06 - Furious Fu:
After a visit from Master Fu, Marinette is confronted by Su-Han, a "celestial guardian" of the Miraculouses who does not believe she and Cat Noir can protect Paris. When Cat Noir refuses to relinquish his Miraculous, the two fight Su-Han and escape with the Miracle Box. Su-Han attacks Master Fu and steals his cane to pursue the heroes, and the confrontation agitates Fu enough for Shadow Moth to akumatize him into "Furious Fu", a painter whose Chinese paper talismans can bring any concept to life. Ladybug and Cat Noir defeat Furious Fu, impressing Su-Han enough to convince him to approve of Marinette's continued service as Ladybug.

Episode 07 - Sole Crusher:
Chloé's half-sister, Zoé Lee, visits Paris. She quickly makes friends with Marinette, but is berated by Chloé, because she believes Zoé's kind, selfless nature makes her unworthy to be a member of the self-centered Bourgeois family. Disappointed that she cannot show her true self, she is akumatized into "Sole Crusher", who can grow bigger by stepping on people, who are absorbed into her shoes.

Episode 08 - Queen Banana:
When Chloé is akumatized into Queen Banana, Ladybug decides to entrust a Miraculous to a new and promising ally. She should help her to stop the supervillain and her giant gorilla.

Episode 11 - Guiltrip:
When Rose mysteriously disappears in the middle of class, a disheartened Juleka is forced to tell her classmates Rose's secret: that she has a chronic illness. Soon, everyone starts treating Rose like a princess, despite wanting to be treated normally. Feeling guilty for her actions, Juleka is akumatized into Reflekta once again, this time with the sentimonster "Guiltrip", who forces people to wallow in their guilt and become copies of Reflekta. To defeat her, Ladybug and Cat Noir give Rose the Pig Miraculous, transforming her into the superheroine "Pigella".

Now since Shadow Moth knows the identities of some of the superheroes, he forges a new plan to find out the identity of Ladybug. To this end, Nathalie creates a new, dangerous sentimonster: Optigami.
