Post-Hawkmoth ( vigilantes AU), Marinette is with Luka (who she tells about her past as Ladybug, but let’s be honest, the boy been knew) & she gets a lot of comfort from him. But she knows she’ll never be the old Mari again, and her past (and what could of been, who she lost, etc.) is always there.

Adrien was too torn up about his father’s death, he never revealed his identity, and then it was too late. Mari isn’t sure if it was better or worse to just put it all behind them. Luka, bless his heart, is very understanding though. *cue Ariana Grande ‘ghostin’…
